EATON's bag filters and filter bags are widely adopted across industry and have become an industry standard. Liquid bag filters are available as single-bag and multi-bag units, in stainless steel, PP and PVDF, with more than 1,500 filter bags of different materials and constructions to choose from. EATON's bag filtration systems provide customers with uniquely efficient, high-quality solutions.	EATON's pipeline filters are widely used by customers to separate debris from liquids and protect pipeline equipment. The range includes automatic self-cleaning filters as well as Duplex, Simplex and Y-type strainers. Cast or fabricated strainers built to EATON's standard designs meet the great majority of applications; for complex or special industry applications, pipeline strainers can be redesigned and manufactured to suit the actual requirement. Available pipe sizes range from as small as 1/4" up to 48".

Automatic pipeline backwash filters include the compact, high-efficiency AFR series and the modular F series, used for filtering fluids of various water qualities to a precision of 2 microns — for example oil-well water injection, nozzle protection in many industries, and process-equipment protection. One AFR filter occupies only about 1/5 of the footprint of a conventional in-line ("―" arrangement) filter. AFC filters provide filtration with nominal precision from 1 to 1,650 microns, at pressures up to 500 psi.	Ronningen-Petter DCF/MCF series mechanical disc-type self-cleaning filters are technically advanced with a broad application range, particularly for filtering high-viscosity fluids (>500 cps). The MCF uses magnetic-coupling technology, ensuring leak-free operation with a simple structure, reliable performance and easy maintenance, suitable for various chemicals, coatings, resins, adhesives, latex, inks and more. The DCF self-cleaning filter and MCF magnetically coupled filter reduce product loss and require no operation, enabling continuous filtration.
Gas/liquid separators
EATON's gas/liquid separators protect expensive system components such as turbines by removing potential hazards — moisture, particulates and the like — from air, steam and gasoline. A wide variety of cast or fabricated separators meet the needs of different customers worldwide.	EATON's LOFTREX filter cartridges can be used in industries such as critical chemicals, paints/inks, water, electroplating, pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, microelectronics and cosmetics.

Chemicals

Catalyst recovery; removal of scale from water lines; liquid clarification; filtration of acids, alkalis and solvents; filtration of emulsions and dispersions; removal of colloids from resins.
