Overview
The ROY-series automatic solution preparation unit is a packaged system that prepares powdered high-molecular polymers (or similar powdered materials) — such as aluminum sulfate, aluminum chloride, poly-aluminum chloride (PAC), ferric sulfate, ferric chloride, polyacrylamide (PAM), potassium permanganate, activated silicic acid (water glass), powdered activated carbon and organic polyelectrolytes (Polymers) — into solutions of a specified concentration. The entire solution-preparation process is automatic and continuous.
The equipment is an integrated turnkey unit for the fully automatic dissolving and dosing of PAM powder. The fully automatic solution preparation and dosing system is supplied as a single skid (all equipment mounted on one base frame); the user only needs to connect the plant water-supply pipe and the flange to the dosing point.
The unit is a batch-preparation, continuous-dosing device with a three-in-one design (dissolving tank, maturation tank, storage tank). The PAM solution preparation and dosing unit includes a powder hopper, screw feeder, pre-dissolving tank (with agitator), maturation tank (with agitator), storage tank (with optional agitator), level transmitter, piping and valves, and a PLC control system.
When dosing PAM powder, a precisely metered screw feeder (frequency-controlled) and an eductor mixer are used (the feeder outlet is also fitted with a valve and other effective devices to prevent moisture ingress into the powder), so that the powder is pre-wetted to avoid clumping and enters the agitated pre-dissolving tank in an exact dose, forming a 0.5% PAM solution. It is then automatically discharged into the storage tank, and a dosing pump delivers the 0.5% PAM solution through the dilution system, diluting it to 0.1% PAM before it reaches the final dosing point.
The preparation and dosing unit comes with its own electrical control cabinet and PLC control system, and can be operated independently or controlled online with a host computer.
