Technical details
The metal magnetic drive pump is built entirely from stainless steel and corundum ceramics, an all-metal construction that withstands the high temperatures and high pressures beyond the reach of plastic or plastic-lined pumps. With wetted parts rated to 250°C and heads to 100 m, it is the right choice for hot, high-pressure, non-corrosive or solvent-bearing services such as heat-transfer oils, hydrocarbons and organic solvents. A permanent-magnet coupling drives the impeller, replacing dynamic shaft seals with a fully sealed static design that is leak-free and eliminates the running, leaking and dripping problems mechanical seals on other pumps cannot avoid, while keeping the conveyed medium isolated and uncontaminated.
