Technical details

The plastic-lined magnetic drive pump pairs a rugged metal casing with a PFA/ETFE fluoropolymer lining, so a single pump delivers the mechanical strength and pressure rating of a metal body together with the broad chemical resistance of a plastic pump. A permanent-magnet coupling drives the impeller, replacing dynamic shaft seals with a fully sealed static design that is leak-free and eliminates the running, leaking and dripping problems mechanical seals on other pumps cannot avoid. The fluoropolymer-lined wetted path keeps the conveyed medium isolated and uncontaminated, making the pump well suited to strongly corrosive and hazardous chemical media that would attack an unlined metal pump.

  • The outer magnet uses a high-performance permanent-magnet material with strong, durable performance and no demagnetization; dynamic-balance testing ensures high stability.

Applications:

Widely used in the chemical, pharmaceutical, petroleum, electroplating, food, photo-processing, scientific research and defense industries for pumping acids, alkalis, oils, rare and valuable liquids, toxic liquids and volatile liquids, as well as for circulating-water equipment and filter presses. It is especially ideal for transferring hazardous liquids that are prone to leakage, flammable, explosive or toxic.
