Technical details
The all-plastic magnetic drive pump is molded entirely from corrosion-resistant engineering plastics — PP, PVC or PVDF — with no metal in the wetted path, making it the economical choice for light-duty transfer of dilute acids, alkalis and other aggressive but ambient-temperature chemicals. A permanent-magnet coupling drives the impeller, so dynamic shaft seals are replaced by a fully sealed static design that is leak-free and eliminates the running, leaking and dripping problems mechanical seals on other pumps cannot avoid. With every wetted part formed from plastics and ceramics, the pump resists a broad range of corrosive liquids while keeping the conveyed medium free of metal contamination.
